The Supreme One Hates Sinners
As announced in the “good news of the reign of Supreme One,” King Joshua’s new administration promises the eternal torment of all the disloyal. 2 Thessalonians 1:8; Romans 10:16; 1 Peter 4:17.
Why does He promise this?
Because He “hates” those who do wrong. Psalm 5:5-6, 11:5. He hates evil people like a bad dream. Psalm 73:20. Thus, His Writings explicitly say that He hates sinners.
But His Writings also explicitly show that He hates sinners. How do they show it? By His deeds. The Supreme One is sovereign – in control of all things – so everything He does is exactly what He delights to do. Isaiah 46:10 (“My counsel does stand, and all My delight – I do.”).
So what does He delight to do?
In doing all He delights, the all-glorious Supreme One is a hateful head-crusher (Ps 5:5, 68:21), cutthroat carcass-collector (Ps 110:6, Lev 26:30, Ez 6:5), “rejoicing” rebel-razer (Deut 28:63), “laughing” lawbreaker-liquidator (Prov 1:26, Ps 2:4, 37:13, 59:8); terrible transgressor-trampler (Ps 47:2, Is 63:1-3), bloody body-beater (Is 63:1-3, Rev 19:13), and shameless soul-smoker (Rev 14:10-11). He clearly does not delight in sinners, but in exterminating them. Though the deaths of His loved ones in this world is a big deal to Supreme One (Psalm 116:15; Psalm 72:14), losing everyone else is no big deal at all. (Job 25:5-6; Daniel 4:35; Psalm 62:9).
“I also in your calamity do laugh, I deride when your fear comes.”
Proverb 1:26
He is totally “comfortable” with all of this (Ezekiel 5:13: “I have caused My fury to rest on them, and I have been comforted”), even if He gets a bit messy in the process. (Isaiah 63:3: “I also trod them in My anger and trampled them in My wrath; and their lifeblood is spattered on My garments, and I stained all My clothes.”).
The Supreme One is not bashful about executing punishment. In fact, He is very possessive of His role as the “Punisher” – it’s very personal to Him. Nahum 1:2; Romans 12:19 (“‘Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,’ says the Lord.”); Isaiah 63:3 (“I have trodden the wine trough alone, and from the peoples there was no one with Me.”).
Why is it so personal to Him?
Not least because it communicates something about Him – something that He is very eager to communicate: i.e. His glorious goodness and the power with which He demonstrates it.
Such is why He raised up Egypt’s Pharaoh in the days of Moses: to famously bring Pharaoh down to the bottom of the Red Sea. Romans 9:17 (“For the Scripture says to the Pharaoh, ‘For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I may show My power in you, and that My name may be declared in all the earth.’”); Ezekiel 38:23. Thus, by annihilating this powerful oppressor of His nation, the Supreme One showed His supreme power and drew a contrast between those He favors and those He does not. In this way, by plaguing and decimating the hostile, idolatrous, slave-driving Egyptians, Supreme One gave Egypt as the purchase-price for His people. Isaiah 43:3. He happily paid an “Egypt” for an “Israel.” Indeed, when good souls hear of such violent, unreserved, destructive goodness of Supreme One, they be all the more loyal to Him. See e.g. Joshua 2:8-11; Hebrews 11:31; James 2:25.
The Supreme One knows that, because of the eternal torment to come, it would be better for some if they had never been born – yet He still makes them anyway. Matt 26:24; see also 2 Peter 2:12 (referring to sinners “made to be caught and destroyed”); see also Jeremiah 12:3 (“sheep for the slaughter” who are “set apart for the day of carnage”); Romans 9:22 (“vessels of His wrath, prepared for destruction”): Exodus 9:16 (“for this purpose I have raised you up, that I may show My power”).
Every law-breaker is “worthy of death” – yet He makes them anyway. Romans 1:32. The soul that sins, it shall die – yet He makes them anyway. Ezekiel 18:20. The wages of sin is death – and He pays out those wages. Romans 6:23.
His hatred is a blessing!
In a world full of “worthless” (Romans 3:12), “wicked” (Romans 1:18), “sinners” (Romans 5:19) – “incurably” “crooked” (Jer 17:9), “evil” (Matt 7:11), “irrational beasts” (Jude 1:10) and “devils” (John 6:70), the loving and equally hateful Sovereign King Joshua is clearly the perfect, desirable global Despot worthy of all worship and obedience. Rev 5:12-13. Earth has never fared well under rulers who are apathetic towards evil-doers. The world needs “law and order” – perfect authority – and wise King Joshua’s passionate hatred of evil-doers proves Him to be the ideal global Despot. Psalm 45:6-7. That is why, when He sends sinful souls to their eternal place of final condemnation, the righteous people will cry out with visceral joy, sort of like you did when the ugly villains were killed in a movie you watched. Revelation 18:20, 19:1-7; Proverbs 11:10.
In the end, no one will cry for you if you don’t survive His Judgment Day. No one will miss you – not for a moment.
So be advised: just as earth’s Judge previously cleansed the world of sinners by a temporary flood during the ancient days of Noah, He will next permanently cleanse this world of sinners by very real, tangible, eternal fire.
The good news of Supreme One’s reign warns that all judgment is entrusted to His Son King Joshua (John 5:22; Acts 10:42), and there is coming a Day in which He will judge all souls. John 5:27; Romans 2:16; 2 Cor 5:10; Matthew 16:27; Acts 17:30-31. King Joshua is going to return “in flaming fire, giving vengeance to those not knowing Supreme One, and to those not obeying the good news of our Lord Joshua Messiah” 2 Thess 1:8; Romans 10:16; 1 Peter 4:17. The disloyal will be “tormented in fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb (i.e. King Joshua)” – forever. Rev 14:10.
Forever.
The worst punishment you can imagine and the greatest of all your fears combined are absolutely NOTHING compared to what is coming. No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no heart has grasped what things Supreme One has prepared for them that hate him. Being buried alive under fallen rocks would be a much preferable escape. Revelation 6:16. But there will be no escape. Ecc 12:14; Psalm 21:8. The wicked will not be unpunished. Proverbs 11:21.
Your hand comes upon all Your enemies – Your right hand does find Your haters. You make them as a furnace of fire at the time of Your presence. YHWH in His anger does swallow them, and fire does devour them.
Psalm 21:8-9
In light of the foregoing, you are now more fully introduced to the global Despot, King Joshua, who is King of kings and Judge of all the earth.
Read all the above-cited Scriptures – calmly, if you can – and see that none of this is an exaggeration or mischaracterization of your Creator’s heart. Mourn because of your disloyalty towards the all-pure, righteous, and furious Supreme One. Lament over the ugly caricature you’ve worshiped – a false god more resembling you than your Maker. Let go of your embarassing loyalties to your false, beggarly idol-god who is not so good and hateful.
“fear Him who is able to kill both soul and body”
Matthew 10:28
Be loyal to the ferocious global Despot, King Joshua. Pay fearful homage to the Chosen One. Fear Him. Do this, and you will understand salvation.
“Serve YHWH with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Chosen One, lest He be angry, and ye lose the way, when His anger burns but a little. O the happiness of all trusting in Him! “
Psalm 2:11-12
