The Creator reigns.
Isaiah 52:7; Mark 1:15; Luke 4:43
That is it – that is the “good news” (i.e. “the gospel”) according to the Biblical writings. It is simple – and true.
This announcement is not about you – but it has profound implications for you. That the one true Supreme Being – who is the divine Creator of all things – is also the current Supreme Ruler on Earth is absolute truth – the unavoidable ultimate reality with certain consequences for all people. You and everyone you know must face those consequences.
Below, the above question (i.e. “What is the good news?”) is conclusively answered with increasing detail by:

What is the “good news”?
SHORT-SENTENCE ANSWER:
The sovereign Creator is NOW imposing His global despotism as promised.
Isaiah 52:7; Mark 1:15; Luke 4:43; Daniel 7:14; Matthew 28:18-19.
What is the “good news”?
MEDIUM-SENTENCE ANSWER:
The “good news” is that the only true Supreme Being has now inaugurated His universal totalitarian theocratic government on Earth by vesting all authority to reign, save, and judge in His resurrected Son, King Joshua, who guarantees the eternal welfare of all the loyal and eternal punishment of all the disloyal.
Isaiah 52:7; Mark 1:15; Luke 4:43; Daniel 7:14; Matthew 28:18-19; John 3:35; 1 Corinthians 15:25; Acts 17:24-31; Philippians 2:8-11; John 18:37; Acts 2:33; Matthew 16:27; Romans 2:16; 2 Corinthians 5:10.
What is the “good news”?
LONG-SENTENCE ANSWER:
The “good news” is the accurate, long-anticipated announcement that the real divine Creator and Sovereign Owner of all things has now rightfully established His eternal global despotism at the hand of His own Son, Joshua, the Almighty King whom He relinquished from Heaven (John 3:13; John 17:3), ratified as His own Son (Luke 9:35; John 1:32, 5:36, 10:25, 10:38, 14:10; Romans 1:2-4; 1 Timothy 3:16) sacrificially recompensed for the sins of His people (Isaiah 53:6; 2 Corinthians 5:21), resurrected from a redemptive death (Psalm 16:10; Isaiah 53:10-12; Acts 13:34-35; Romans 4:25), and raised up with exclusive authority (John 3:35) to:
rule this world presently (Matthew 28:18-19),
receive the obedience of all peoples (Daniel 7:14; Isaiah 56:7; Philippians 2:8-11),
repress all opposition (Psalm 2:8-12; 1 Corinthians 15:25),
rescue souls oppressed by the conquered forces of evil (Colossians 1:13; Acts 26:18),
remit (i.e. forgive) and remove sins (Matthew 9:6, Zechariah 3:9, Isaiah 27:9, Romans 11:26),
reconcile the souls He purchased by the blood of His cross (1 Peter 3:18; Colossians 1:22),
revive sinners into vibrant, righteous life (John 5:21; 5:25-26, 10:10),
rally the faithful into a unified international assembly (Isaiah 11:10; Ephesians 1:10),
route His Spirit from Heaven into the hearts of all the faithful (Acts 2:33; Romans 8:9; Galatians 4:6),
restore global peace and order (Isaiah 9:6-7, 42:4),
and, on a date He has already scheduled,
render final judgment on every person according to their works (Matthew 16:27; John 5:27; Romans 2:16; 2 Corinthians 5:10).

What is the “good news”?
~3-MINUTE ANSWER:
Simply stated, the only one true deity rules supremely – here and now. Isaiah 9:6-7, 52:7; Mark 1:15; Luke 4:43; Matthew 28:18-19.
This is “the good news of the reign of Supreme One” from His recorded words in the Bible: the Creator is now asserting Himself as reality’s Despot. Luke 4:43.
Heaven’s righteous Dictatorship is not simply beyond the stars – it has touched down on Earth. Mark 1:15. The “Kingdom of Heaven” is not only in Heaven – the authority prevailing in Heaven applies on Earth. The Creator has inaugurated His personal, incontestable, tangible, immediate, and total domination of Earth as the supreme Law-giver, Judge, and King. ALL other claims to power, authority, preeminence, and governance are now relativized. As Creator, He has always owned everything – now He has come to actually rule. The Maker of Heaven and Earth is currently the Supreme Ruler over all lands and all people. Daniel 7:14.
His exclusive one-world government has already begun. Matthew 28:18.
This has both immediate and eternal consequences – both for the world and for you personally. As the supreme “King of kings,” King Joshua already overrules ALL authorities on Earth. Romans 13:1; Acts 4:12. Right now, He already reigns supreme over ALL things – including you. You have no higher authority than Him.
The Creator has always sustained His world. But now, after allowing this world, for a time, to taste the complete failure of its self-governance, He is presently asserting His superior governance and His rightful claim to the obedience of all people from all nations – including you. Isaiah 42:1,4; Daniel 7:14; Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 17:30-31.
King Joshua, as the Son of Supreme One, has consolidated ALL political, judicial, legislative, religious, moral, spiritual, tribal, societal, and personal authority, so He not only has all authority to literally rule the world, but also to rule every individual heart and mind, including yours. Matthew 28:18; John 3:35.
The Son of Supreme One descended from the Heavens, established the reign of Heaven on Earth, resurrected from the redemptive death which He died as a ransom (purchasing for Supreme One a minority of chosen souls from around the world who will reign with Him forever), and then ascended to the throne of the universe. Revelation 5:9-10. In light of this, He commands all people everywhere to surrender all previous loyalties. Acts 17:30-31.
He also possesses all authority as Judge to either condemn or forgive souls as He pleases. John 5:22, John 5:27; Acts 10:42. He has already scheduled a day of final judgment on which every individual will be judged for every thought, word, and deed. Acts 17:31.
“This good news of the reign shall be proclaimed in all the world, for a testimony to all the nations; and then shall the end arrive.” Matthew 24:14
You have now been formally notified.
Now, after reading the above, continue on for the explanatory article answering the question: What is the “good news”?
THIS IS NOT MERELY “RELIGIOUS” NEWS
Rulers of ancient times published “good news” of their own rise to power and their military successes, and they called this news the evangelion (“εὐαγγέλιον” in Ancient Greek), meaning “good” “message” or “news.” See e.g. Caesar Augustus; see also Aeschin. 3 160. In English, that word is translated evangel or gospel.
Let that sink in.
Ancient emperors were “evangelizing,” spreading the “gospel” (i.e. “good news”) about their reign, often enhanced with their claims of divine entitlement to a transcendent throne and glory. Such news was not merely political, but also religious, and personal – applying across the many spheres of life.
A regular citizen in ancient times would know just what was expected of them in response to the emperor’s “good news”: transferring their previous loyalties from the old ruler to the new ruler and continuing in faithful allegiance to the new ruler and His authority.
As the new emperor’s ambassadors traveled throughout the empire spreading the news and demanding demonstrations of loyalty, people understood that, once they heard the new ruler’s “good news,” they would be held accountable – there would be no more excuse for disloyalty. But many people would also know that the “good news” of the next oppressive, ego-maniac emperor like Caesar was NOT really “good” news.
Therefore, when the good-hearted Creator of all things began announcing His own “good news” – the news of His own righteous, totalitarian takeover of His corrupted world – even those who were not receptive still understood that this news clashed with all other powers on Earth. See John 19:15; Acts 17:6-7. They also understood that the Creator’s good news was not merely a religious message – it demanded the replacement of ALL rival loyalties with a real, practical, continued, faithful allegiance to Him. It was religious, political, and intensely personal – applying across the many spheres of life.
WHY IS THIS GOOD NEWS?
If you have been to a church, you have probably heard that the “good news” is how a supernatural god in the sky has a good plan for your life, wants to fill the hole in your heart, wants you to know how special you are, and wants to help you enter cloudy heavens when you die. Maybe someone religious advertised a “gospel” to you about an eternal celestial resting place where all your current desires could be satisfied. You might have heard that a supernatural god is even willing to forgive your evils – IF you will comply with some terms. Given the current state of world religion, if you have ever picked up a Bible, it likely was not because you wanted to learn about your Creator’s totalitarian government on Earth and what it means to you personally.
So, why is the Creator’s current despotic regime “good news”?
Here are 3 primary reasons:
(1) because His despotic reign has been such a long time coming,
(2) because of who this global Ruler is, and
(3) because of His deeds (i.e. what He has done, is doing, and will do).
REASON 1: A LONG TIME COMING.
This announcement is good news because the Maker’s despotic reign has been so highly-anticipated as a promised outcome for this world.
The first humans on Earth defected from the Maker’s gracious authority in their autonomous pursuit of ascendance; what they accomplished apart from the Giver of Life was death, ugliness, and disorder; instead of multiplying the Maker’s image in His world as directed, they bred the disloyalty of the human race. Genesis 2:17, 3:16, 6:5; Romans 5:12. Subsequently, over thousands of years of chaos, fallen humans have continued showing an unwillingness to submit to the Maker’s authority. Psalm 10:4, 14:1, 58:3; Romans 1:28; Job 21:14-15. As Supreme One said: “they have rejected Me from reigning over them.” 1 Samuel 8:7.
For millennia, humans obsessed with their own autonomous pursuit of preeminence have ravaged this world. Such lust-driven humans willingly enslave themselves to the “Satan,” (who is the demonic “adversary” of Supreme One), doing his will in exchange for the perception of pleasure and prominence. Fixated on achieving supremacy, such humans foolishly ally with the spiritual forces of evil to implement lies and abuses at every level – in politics, religion, and relationships – in public and private – from the top of government down and from the bottom of society up – all for the illusory ascendance of their perverted hearts and the ultimate exaltation of their master, the Satan. Luke 4:6-7; John 8:44.
Yet, for ages, humble faces have long been looking up to Heaven from their toil, slavery, abuse, persecution, and suffering – awaiting deliverance. Luke 1:70-71; 1 Samuel 2:9-10. Longing for ultimate rescue, humble souls have been looking forward to a liberation long-foretold by prophets of diverse walks of life. That’s why, when King Joshua finally came down from Heaven, He announced: “The time is fulfilled!” The wait is over. The ancient prophecy was coming to fruition. Exactly as foretold, King Joshua finally came to usher in Heaven’s immediate reign on Earth.
Isaiah 9:6-7; Daniel 7:14; Mark 1:15; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, 25;
Matthew 28:18-19; John 3:35; 1 Corinthians 15:25; Acts 17:24-31.
Now at this present moment, King Joshua’s new administration is FINALLY announced on Earth exactly as promised – and it guarantees punishment of the wicked and deliverance of the righteous. Acts 17:31; Romans 2:6-8; Matthew 25:46; Daniel 12:2. This good King Joshua has no corrupt inclinations to continue the abuses that have plagued this world. Luke 4:6-8; Hebrews 4:15. Now, He finally came to initiate the reign that will ultimately expel all abusers. Revelation 21:8, 21:27; 2 Thessalonians 1:6-7.
Let all your other loyalties be displaced and live faithfully to Him in light of this good news! Mark 1:15.
REASON 2: WHO HE IS.
This is also good news because of who this global King is – because of who is in charge of everything: the only one true deity! Remember – it was Supreme One’s personal theocratic reign which the first humans had shamefully spurned in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3:2-6) and which Israel had spurned despite their deliverance from Egypt (1 Samuel 8:4-8). Therefore, if anyone besides Supreme One now came to reign, it would not be truly “good” news.
But King Joshua is the Supreme One! He is the all-wise, all-beautiful, all-powerful, all-righteous One, so His eternal government is the blessing this world needs! Proverbs 29:2 (“When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when a wicked man rules, the people groan.”).
King Joshua himself, as the “Son of Supreme One,” is “one” with the Father in Heaven. Deut 6:4; John 10:30. He is not merely “one in purpose” with the Father or “united in one cause” with the Father; rather, King Joshua is substantially one in very essence and being with the Heavenly Father so that Joshua Himself is the same Almighty Supreme One named YHWH – the only divine being who now took on bodily form. Isaiah 9:6; John 1:1-2; John 8:58; Colossians 2:9; Hebrews 1:8; Philippians 2:5-7; Revelation 1:17-18, 1:11, 1:8.
As the eternal, heavenly Supreme Being, King Joshua is so purely perfect and desperately needed that His totalitarian regime on Earth is truly good news. He is not like the burdensome and fickle earthly governments that over-tax and over-regulate their citizens and let lawbreakers run free. He is not like you. As the perfect divine King, Joshua is perfectly fair, He is not corrupt, He does not take bribes, and He is not swayed into partiality; He loves righteousness and hates wickedness and He can show gracious favor on His own terms whenever His good heart sees fit. Psalm 45:7; Romans 9:16. King Joshua is the perfect provider, protector, and prince – the perfect shepherd, savior, and sovereign. Only He can forgive the souls He created (Matt 9:6) and free them from the bondage into which they have sold themselves (Psalm 49:7-8). Only He can redeem, rescue, and reign. He alone possesses all power to save, to judge, and to rule. Acts 4:12, 10:42, 17:31.
No other government, dictator, emperor, president, monarch, or ruler can claim to be the real divine Son of the Supreme One. The Father has testified on behalf of His Son who alone has divine rights to reign. Psalm 2:4-12; John 3:35; Luke 9:35; John 1:32, 5:36, 10:25, 10:38, 14:10; Romans 1:2-4; 1 Timothy 3:16. He is the sole mediator between Supreme One and men. 1 Timothy 2:5. The Supreme One has given His Son to the world as its only savior-King. Isaiah 42:6; John 3:16; Acts 4:12, 5:31, 13:47.
Supreme One has undertaken to reign at the hand of His own divine Son Joshua.
John 3:35, 5:21-23; Isaiah 9:6.
Let all your other loyalties be displaced and live faithfully to Him in light of this good news! Mark 1:15.
REASON 3: WHAT HE HAS DONE, IS DOING, AND WILL DO.
A. What has He done?
As the Almighty Creator and Sustainer, Joshua has done so many marvelous things that if they were written one-by-one, not even the world itself could hold the books. John 21:25. That’s not an exaggeration – it’s an understatement. After all, He made all things – every dancing atom, every secret snowflake, every passing ocean wave, every fluttering leaf, every animated creature, every hidden jewel, every distant star, every delicate flower petal, every string of DNA, and every beat of your heart. John 1:3; Genesis 1:26; Colossians 1:16.
But about 2000 years ago, the Son of Supreme One who Himself created all things did something most astounding – He humbly left His Heavenly throne to enter His world in human form as a man whose name (in English) is Joshua, which means “salvation of YHWH” (with “YHWH” being the name of the one true Supreme One who revealed Himself to Israel). Matthew 1:21; Isaiah 9:6; Colossians 1:16; Philippians 2:5-8. As a real, historical man on this Earth, Joshua brought Heaven’s authority near to humanity just as promised:
- healing the sick,
- raising the dead,
- forgiving sins,
- teaching with undeniable authority,
- confronting oppressive men and demons, and
- announcing the reign of Supreme One on Earth.
Isaiah 61:1; Matthew 12:28; Matthew 11:5; Luke 4:16-20, 7:22. Since He came from Heaven to Earth to mediate such power and authority, He was like a ladder which spanned a previously intraversable distance. John 1:50-51.
Some people who benefited from Joshua’s miracles agreed to acknowledge Him as their earthly king and others vowed to fight for His political dominance, but their motives were impure, and King Joshua did not consent to being idolized – He refused to be exalted on their self-interested terms; He was instead focused on the Heavenly Father’s will being done. John 6:15, 26; John 2:23-25; Matthew 6:10; Matthew 16:22-23; Philippians 2:8. Joshua did not clamor and riot in the streets for attention and a following – He was busy bringing the light and hope of His judgments to the humble in His world and exposing the evils of the proud. Matthew 4:16-17, 12:18-21; Luke 1:53; James 4:6.
Representative of humanity’s long-standing refusal to live under it’s Maker’s authority, all the evil powers of Earth climactically allied against this divine yet humble King Joshua. Psalm 2:2. Yet, as the powers of darkness encircled Joshua in an effort to forever stamp out the light of Supreme One and finally break the Maker’s hold on His world, this faithful man Joshua staged the most surprising and determinative offensive. Psalm 2:2-3; 22:12, 16; Acts 4:23-28.
As the archetypal savior-King, innocent Joshua allowed Himself to be captured by His enemies, to be led into the conspired gathering of sinners who falsely accused Him and groundlessly beat Him, and then to be executed on the Roman government’s ghastly torture-device – a wooden cross – at the request of certain disloyal Jews, because it was there – suspended on wood by the nails in His limbs – that this sovereign, innocent King Joshua had planned to unite in oneness with chosen sinful souls that He came to save – souls that actually deserved divine punishment on account of their sin. Acts 4:27-28; John 10:18; Isaiah 53. That union is how Joshua “became sin” for the chosen souls He came to save – becoming for them the “curse” of fallen humanity. Deuteronomy 21:23; Psalm 22:6; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Galatians 3:13; John 3:14. Then, once sinless King Joshua assumed in His body all the evils and sins of His chosen people through His union with them, He was ready to absorb (i) the worst consequence the Satan ever wrought (i.e. death) (Hebrews 2:14); and (ii) all the Father’s divine punishment that was appropriate for the sinners with whom Joshua was miraculously united (Isaiah 53:6; Mark 10:45; John 10:11; John 6:39).
While wicked men were busy arranging for and carrying out King Joshua’s death, Joshua was enacting His prearranged plan to break the death-grip of the Satan on this world (Hebrews 2:14; 1 John3:8b) and give Himself as a ransom payment (a wrath-removing sacrifice) to the Heavenly Father on behalf of His chosen people whom He calls His “sheep.” (Mark 10:45; John 10:17-18; Acts 2:23; Isaiah 53).
The Father had preplanned this substitutionary sacrifice and accordingly accepted it — pouring out on sin-bearing Joshua every drop of fiery, angry judgment that His chosen people had ever earned on account of their sin. Isaiah 53:10; Acts 4:27-28. After Supreme One had laid upon this perfect man Joshua all past, present, and future sin of His chosen people, Supreme One was satisfied to crush Him in their place. Isaiah 53:5-6,10; Deuteronomy 28:45…47…63…65-66 (“Come upon you have all these curses, and they have pursued you, and overtaken you, till you are destroyed because you have not hearkened to the voice of YHWH your Supreme One, to keep His commands, and His statutes, which he has commanded you… Because that you have not served YHWH your Supreme One with joy, and with gladness of heart….YHWH rejoices over you to destroy you, and to lay you waste…YHWH has given to you there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and grief of soul…and your life has been hanging in suspense before you, and you have been afraid by night and by day, and do not believe in your life…”); Psalm 22:1-2, 14-15. Thus, for the souls chosen to be saved, King Joshua willingly suffered the same death penalty that He will administer to the wicked at the end of time.
As the greatest act of love, the Supreme One who exists as Father, Son, and Spirit willingly performed this saving transaction. Isaiah 53:10; Ephesians 5:2; Hebrews 9:14; 1 Peter 3:18. In this great plan, the Son Joshua had – before the creation of the world – voluntarily undertaken to be a “surety” (i.e. one who takes responsibility for the debts of others) for the souls who were chosen to be saved. Hebrews 7:22; Ephesians 1:4, 3:11. Therefore, as their “surety,” righteous Joshua took on their guilt and was able to die in the place of the unrighteous souls He came to save. Isaiah 53:12; 1 Peter 3:18. By dying the exact same death which those chosen souls had earned on account of their sin, Joshua effectively and forever paid their eternal debt (Romans 6:23), thereby purchasing their souls with His own blood (Revelation 5:9; Acts 20:28). During Joshua’s hours hanging on the cross, the Heavenly Father did actually – in unseen manners that are unspeakable – crush Joshua with the full, unreserved punishment that would have been due to His chosen people. Isaiah 53:10; Psalm 22:1-2, 14-15. That punishment was fully and forever exhausted on the Son. Isaiah 53:5. When the one true Supreme One accomplished this hopeful, purposeful, voluntary Father-Son transaction, it fulfilled the ancient example of Abraham who did not withhold his own beloved, loyal son but rather trusted that he would be raised from the dead. Genesis 22:8-9, 22:12; Hebrews 11:17-19. The Father gave His Son to the world as King (John 3:16), and the Son gave Himself to the Father as an atoning sacrifice (John 10:17-18).
As a sacrificial lamb, King Joshua died sacrificially under the Heavenly Father’s firey condemnation – specifically on behalf of His loved ones – to effectually pay their entire eternal death-penalty. Isaiah 53:10; Exodus 12:8-9.
As High Priest who specifically represented the chosen souls, King Joshua presented His own blood before the Father as a propitiation (i.e. a wrath-removing sacrifice) for them. Exodus 28:29; Hebrews 9:11-12. By uniting with His chosen sinners – and then, on the cross, absorbing all the divine punishment they deserved – King Joshua conclusively purchased those chosen souls by His own death – by His own blood. Revelation 5:9; Acts 20:28.
This King was not offering Himself as an optional gift to an unwilling world – but as an effective ransom payment to the Heavenly Father on behalf of loved sinners (called “sheep”) chosen out of the world. Hebrews 9:14; Matthew 20:28; Mark 10:45; John 6:39; John 13:1, 17:2, 6, 9, 22-23; John 10:11. That day, He paid their debt in full by His once-for-all-time sacrifice. Zechariah 3:9; Hebrews 1:3. As His blood ran out, so did His forgiveness of all His chosen people. Ephesians 1:7; Leviticus 16:30; 17:11.
Then, days after King Joshua’s death, He rose Himself from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit with the Father’s blessing. Psalm 16:10; John 10:18; Romans 1:4, 4:25, 8:11; 1 Peter 3:18; Acts 3:15.
After receiving the curse of death on behalf of those with whom He had united, King Joshua’s triumphant physical resurrection from the dead:
- accomplished a crushing defeat of all evil powers whose greatest weapon was sin’s ultimate consequence (i.e. death, and the fear of it) (e.g. Colossians 2:15);
- proved that His sacrifice single-handedly accomplished the acquittal, forgiveness; redemption, and legal justification of His people (e.g. Romans 4:25);
- verified His rightful claim to both the throne and the judgment seat of the universe (e.g. Acts 17:31); and
- inaugurated the powerful new Spirit-wrought life to be enjoyed by all those loyal to Him (e.g. Ephesians 2:5-6).
Not only did King Joshua suffer the Father’s divine wrath as a substitutionary sacrifice for His chosen people, but all the visible and invisible powers of evil had aimed their own hatred and curses at King Joshua. Genesis 3:15; Psalm 2:2; Luke 22:52-53. Evil men, in an unholy alliance with the Satan, conspired to use the abuse and deception of lies to bring about Joshua’s death – and they did – all while mocking and scoffing at Him. Psalm 22:6-13; Matthew 27:39-41.
But it was impossible for that death to keep King Joshua down, and He shattered their power when – by the Holy Spirit’s power and the Father’s blessing – He raised Himself from the dead. Acts 3:15; Colossians 2:15; Hebrews 2:14-15; Genesis 3:15; 1 John 3:8b. “Death has been swallowed up in victory!” 1 Corinthians 15:54.
King Joshua then ascended to the Heavens where He sat down upon the throne of the universe with ALL authority – all of it. Matthew 28:18-20; Psalm 22:24-28; Psalm 24:9-10; Philippians 2:8-11; Isaiah 52:13, 53:12; Daniel 7:14. That is what it looks like when the Supreme One gives the world His Son as King. John 3:16.
Note: Your nodding along to these truths does not mean that you have actually been saved by this glorious King or become loyally submissive to Him. As already explained, many welcomed Joshua as king and were excited about His coming, but they remained fundamentally dead in spirit and disloyal to Supreme One, living vain lives preoccupied with self. Matthew 7:22-23; Psalm 81:15.
B. What is He doing?
Right now, King Joshua is seated at His throne. Like He said, He now holds all authority in Heaven and on Earth. Matthew 28:18-20. He not only ascended with exclusive authority to forgive sinners, but also exclusive authority to give life to spiritually-dead humans. John 1:4, 5:21, 5:26, 11:25, 14:6.
So, one of His first items of business in His new administration was to finally usher in a new era on Earth: the long-promised era of His life-giving Spirit.
“it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh” Joel 2:28; Acts 2:17; 1 Peter 1:10-12; Colossians 1:26-27; John 7:39
In this current era, after the nation of Israel climactically rejected its Messiah-King, such liberal spiritual blessing by Israel’s Supreme One has shockingly burst beyond the borders of Israel to the rest of the world. Acts 10:34-45; Acts 13:46. “I do send the promise of my Father upon you.” Luke 24:49; see also John 14:16-17.
Presently, the same Spirit who raised the global Despot Joshua from the dead is on a global campaign, spiritually-resurrecting chosen humans – from every tribe, language, and nation – to spiritual life in union with risen King Joshua. Ephesians 1:13, 2:5-7, 3:4-6. The Spirit’s “regenerating” work is selectively raising choice souls from their hopeless spiritual death to hopeful spiritual life. Ephesians 2:4-7; 1 Peter 1:3; 1 Corinthians 6:14. He removes individuals’ hearts of stone that were formerly in morbid bondage to various sinful cravings of this world and replaces such hard, dead hearts with tender, living hearts of flesh which naturally reciprocate the spiritual pulse of divine, loyal love. Ezekiel 36:26. The Spirit replaces corrupted, darkened minds that existed in enmity toward Him and opposition to truth with pure minds enlightened by the divine consciousness and righteous thought. Colossians 1:21; Romans 8:5-11, 12:2; 1 Corinthians 2:16.
This personal spiritual re-creation makes the individual human beneficiaries into superior “new creations” who are fully qualified, suitable, and enabled to participate in His present regime. Colossians 1:12-13, 2:10; 2 Corinthians 3:5; 1 Peter 2:9; Titus 2:14. Such re-created souls are not merely “better off” than others – as if they are merely escaping eternal punishment; no, such saved souls are saved from both the consequential penalty of sin and its corrupting power! Thus, each such special saved souls are now, by the King’s gracious design, qualitatively “better” than everyone else on Earth, free from slavery to sin and now capable of genuinely good thoughts, words, deeds, desires, and feelings that no one else experiences. 1 Peter 2:9; Titus 2:14; Galatians 6:15; 2 Corinthians 5:17; Ephesians 2:10; Romans 12:2; Hebrews 8:10-11. They are the only souls capable of true love, spiritual virtue, and obedience. 1 John 3:14; 1 John 2:3-6; John 14:15. Thus, they are the perfect group to reign on Earth. Luke 22:29; Revelation 2:26-27; Daniel 7:18,22. That means: if you are not a beneficiary of the Spirit’s re-creative work, you are not a new creation and are not qualified to participate in the new eternal administration. Acts 8:21; Galatians 6:15, 5:6; Revelation 22:14-15; 1 Corinthians 6:9-10.
While the divine Spirit previously, in millenia past, came upon specific individuals to temporarily inspire their speaking and to empower their momentary deeds of valor, now in this era of His Spirit, King Joshua permanently installs His Spirit directly inside every one of His loyal chosen ones, uniting them to His own glorious resurrection life. Galatians 4:6; Romans 8:11; 1 Peter 1:3; John 14:17.
By reviving and then inhabiting the individual once-spiritually-dead souls whom He had eternally loved, His indwelling Spirit – shared by all the chosen – is bringing to life a single, unified, global body of the faithful that answers straight to Him. Ephesians 1:22, 4:4-6; Colossians 1:18; 1 Corinthians 12:27; Romans 8:9. The Spirit is currently resurrecting a nation of royal sub-kings and queens who freely operate as imperial priests in this world, offering spiritual sacrifices to their Maker and King. 1 Peter 2:5-9; Titus 2:14; Revelation 5:10, 1:6, 3:21, 2:26-27; 2 Timothy 2:12.
The deep, intricate, spiritual unity of this group is a guaranteed feature of His new administration – it is a certain result of King Joshua’s own intercession. John 17:20-23; 1 John 3:14; John 13:35.
The Victory Parade
By this unprecedented, unbreakable unity of diverse resurrected souls concertedly acting as ambassadors in this world, King Joshua is parading before the fallen earthly powers the very real and present authority He currently possesses (over both the seen and unseen realms) and the unique victory He achieved in securing the ultimate loyalty of all nations . Matthew 10:18; Acts 2:34-35; Acts 9:15; Ephesians 3:10-11.
Before the eyes of earthly rulers who grasp for power by failing, brutish means, the stalwart unity and enduring loyalty of King Joshua’s people has continued bearing an astonishing and unmistakable testimony to King Joshua’s preeminence. See Isaiah 52:15 and Acts 17:6-8.
Through the witness of victorious souls bowing to none but King Joshua – the divine Spirit is actively circulating the message of King Joshua’s supremacy to defeated powers in this world, much to their dismay. Matthew 10:18; Mark 13:9; Acts 17:6-8; Ephesians 3:10-11.
The Grass-Roots Campaign
But the divine Spirit is also activating an interpersonal, grass-roots campaign in the hearts of all mankind to personally testify to the validity of King Joshua’s message. John 15:26; Matthew 24:14. This testimony of the Spirit occurs through the written Scriptures as published abroad by His loyal people. 2 Corinthians 5:20. Simply stated, faithful souls communicate the truth to others, and, at that moment, the Spirit is testifying. Luke 10:16.
Those who are not loyal to the message of King Joshua receive the Spirit’s testimony that they are sinners. John 16:7-15; John 3:18 (he who is loyal to Joshua is not condemned, but he who is not loyal has been condemned already, because he has not been loyal to the name of the only begotten Son of Supreme One); see example at Acts 8:20-23 and Acts 13:9-10.
This testimony does not occur as a crashing voice from Heaven, but through the voices of His chosen souls made into royal sub-kings and queens who are delegated the authority to pronounce righteous judgments on the Earth, both now and forever. 1 Corinthians 6:2; Revelation 2:26-27, 3:21.
As these Spirit-indwelled, divinely-authorized judges tell fellow-humans that their deeds are evil, they receive from their fellow-humans the same mockery, slander, and hatred that King Joshua Himself received from this dark world. John 7:7, 15:18-19, 17:14, Matthew 5:11, 10:25, 24:9; Philippians 1:29; 1 Peter 4:14, Colossians 1:24, 2 Timothy 3:12; 1 John 3:12-13.
If this convicting ministry of the divine Spirit is not enough for you – i.e. if you stubbornly persist in this climactic era of the Spirit as someone whose life continues to contradict the truth – there is no further assistance for you under this new administration – only a certain capital punishment. Matthew 12:31-32; 2 Thessalonians 1:8; Romans 2:8.
So, what is King Joshua doing in this current era of His Spirit?:
- circulating the good news of His reign (1 Peter 1:12)
- raising chosen individuals to spiritual life (Ephesians 2:5)
- giving special authority and spiritual abilities to the chosen (Ephesians 4:7-13);
- assembling from such individuals His royal nation (1 Peter 2:9);
- demolishing all vestiges of the defeated previous administration of darkness, bringing everything captive to Him (2 Corinthians 10:4-5);
- parading His victory before the eyes of earthly rulers (Mark 13:9);
- globally testifying to the defeat of evil, to the truth of King Joshua, and to the evils of (and consequences for) any continued disloyalty (John 16:7-15);
- beautifying His humble collective of souls as a Bride arrayed in righteousness for the great day of His return (Revelation 19:7).
C. What will He do?
His righteous administration promises a thorough judgment and extermination of all the guilty. Exodus 34:7 (“He will by no means leave [the guilty] unpunished”); Proverbs 11:21; Acts 17:31. In His presence, the disloyal will melt like wax (Psalm 68:2), they will blow away like dust (Psalm 1:4), they will dissipate like smoke (Psalm 37:20). He hates ALL who do wrong. Psalm 5:5; 73:20. With ruthless force, innocent King Joshua Himself will “break them with a rod of iron,” and “dash them to pieces like pottery.” Psalm 2:7-9. He will demolish and trample His enemies with devastating and overwhelming omnipotence. Deut 28:63; Proverb 1:26; Psalm 2:4, 37:13, 59:8; Psalm 110:6, Leviticus 26:30, Ezekiel 6:5, Psalm 47:2, Isaiah 63:1-3, Revelation 14:10-11. It would be preferable to be buried alive under rocks than face His wrath. Revelation 6:16.
Simply stated, He is coming back to crush heads.
Psalm 68:21.
As the sovereign and innocent Creator, Sustainer, and Ruler of all things, He is entitled to do so. What a terror for those who have sinned against Him! Hebrews 10:31; Revelation 6:16.
His gracious administration also affords all His chosen people full pardon, provision, peace, and protection. Full forgiveness and freedom is enjoyed by all those loyal to King Joshua. Isaiah 61:1-2; 53:10-12. This is not a promise of immediate material wealth and ease – but of true, abundant life now and eternal wellbeing. Sufficient has been this promise to enable many loyal souls to endure temporary abuses by their persecutors. Matthew 10:28. King Joshua is the sole source of hope for salvation and welfare – both for the world globally and for individuals. He is rich in mercy and eternal love. Exodus 34:6; Ephesians 2:4. He is also fierce in His vengeance. Romans 12:19; Isaiah 63:1-3. His precious people will finally see the wicked destroyed and will celebrate with grateful praise. Proverbs 29:16; Psalm 104:35; Deuteronomy 33:29; Luke 1:71; Revelation 19:3. What a blessing for those humble chosen souls!
HIS REIGN IS INCONTESTABLE
Fortunately, this righteous world Ruler has ALREADY conquered all rival authorities.
No government, leader, synagogue, mosque, temple, church, intellectual, or influencer is above Him. There is nothing you, or your church, organization, friends, traditions, or politicians can do about it. Your agreement is not required; your vote will not be tallied; any protest will ultimately be quashed with overwhelming force and finality.
No idea, religion, philosophy, or political party platform attempting to rival the supremacy of King Joshua can even qualify as “wisdom” or “knowledge.” Proverbs 21:30. Every knee will bow to King Joshua and every tongue will confess He is the Master, the Despot worthy of fearful and joyful obedience. Philippians 2:8-11.
All authority is currently His. Matthew 28:18. Even those with power on earth – like presidents, princes, and parents – are mere stewards answerable to Him. Romans 13:1. King Joshua presently has ALL authority over EVERY person, over ALL things, over ALL countries, at ALL times, in ALL places – PERIOD.
Inevitably, His currently unfolding dominion will cover the earth like a flood – it will pervade this planet like yeast in a lump of dough. Habakkuk 2:14; Matthew 13:33. Yet His dominion is not merely broad, it is also deep. His flag will not merely be flown high above the Earth out of sight, but in every heart, in every mind, on every tongue, and by every hand that remains on Earth. Romans 14:11; Philippians 2:10. In the end, no one unpleasing to Him will remain. Psalm 37:1-2, 68:2; Revelation 15:4. His will will be done.
THIS GOOD NEWS IS NOT ABOUT YOU
In case you have not yet realized it, this good news is not about you – it is about King Joshua – though it applies to you. It does not guarantee that every human has a happy ending – it guarantees a happy ending for Him and all whom He loves.
In the end, no one will cry for you if you don’t survive His Judgment Day – none enjoying eternity with Him will miss you – not for a moment. No one – not the King or any of His people – will mourn for the evil, worthless souls suffering His punishment forever.
No one will cry for you.
One of the last things the wicked will hear before their eternal punishment – if they are not too preoccupied – will be the grateful celebration of everyone else in Heaven. Revelation 18:20, 19:1-7; Proverbs 11:10.
Clearly, this true “good news” about the Supreme One’s totalitarian regime is NOT news about:
- “how worthy you are”
- “how to get to Heaven”
- “how to get forgiven”
- how “Jesus loves you”
- “how to get born again”
- “how to have a purposeful life”
- “how to build authentic communities”
The good news, according to the writings in the Bible, is not the traditions you learned from your Grandma’s church. It does not offer you a “ticket to Heaven” for eternity.
It is the announcement about our worthy Creator’s current personal despotism on Earth.
THIS GOOD NEWS DOES AFFECT YOU
Unlike the “good news” about ancient emperors who died and faced their Maker – this good news does actually apply to you. In fact, it is news from Him to you personally – that is why you are hearing it now. Matthew 24:14.
Like it or not, this news actually applies to you.
In fact, this news poses a potentially overwhelming problem for you individually. Regardless of what you might say – or knowingly show – in polite company, you probably:
- prefer your own authority,
- desire autonomy (“self-governance”) (as the lawgiver, judge, and king of your own life),
- feel worthy of attention, ascendance, and accolade that actually belongs to King Joshua;
- do not genuinely adore (love) King Joshua with all your heart and mind;
- do not currently abide by (obey) His laws;
- act in ways – and enjoy things – that are illegal under His rule.
If any of these apply to you, you are disloyal. You are not right towards your enthroned Maker, the One who currently holds you together, granting you every breath; you do not love Him with all your heart; you do not obey Him with every thought, feeling, and move; and you do not give Him the gratitude He truly deserves.
You are a clay pot warring against your Potter. You are biting the Hand that feeds you. You are a rebel living a treasonous life on the King’s land. You are living as a disgusting enemy of your glorious Creator. No matter how nice you are to the people you like, and no matter how many nice people seem to like you, your disloyalty to your righteous reigning Maker makes you a grossly wicked creature of His.
Tough news for you:
He never lets the guilty go unpunished.
Ever.
Did you hear that? Read it again.
There are no religious gimmicks, tricks, or excuses to this. Have you been told there’s something you can do about your guilt? No – He will never – ever – look at any guilty soul and call them righteous – no matter what your religion says and no matter what spiritual experiences you go through. Genesis 18:25; Proverbs 17:15; Job 25:25-26.
There is absolutely nothing you can do about it.
As the righteous Judge, He will never look at a guilty person and call them righteous.
“The one who is declaring the wicked “righteous” and the one who is condemning the righteous – even both of these are an abomination to YHVH.” Proverbs 17:15
FACE YOUR LAW-GIVER, JUDGE, AND KING
In one sense – you don’t need to meet your Maker – you already know Him. No matter what your national origin, background, and beliefs, you already generally know the Creator; as one of His creatures, you were born with innate knowledge of Him. Romans 1:21. You are hard-wired to know Him and could not function rationally without that deep, inner, foundational knowledge. Proverbs 21:30. From your earliest moments of awareness, you have known your Maker enough to have decided to hate Him and to hide from Him behind your evolving belief system. Romans 1:18,21; Psalm 10:4.
It’s awkward for you, because even though you can’t hide from your inner knowledge of your Maker, at the same time, you don’t desire your Maker and don’t have room for Him in your life. Psalm 10:4; John 3:20. You don’t desire to know Him – because He is above you – and that drives you crazy. Your deep-seated hatred for your Creator drives you to live irrationally. You exhaust yourself – pushing down and crowding out the truth that you already know about Him. Romans 1:18-21. You wear yourself out trying to drown out that inner knowledge.
Nevertheless, He has ALL authority over you asCreator, Owner, Lawgiver, Judge, and King. Face these simple truths, if you can:
Joshua is your Creator. Colossians 1:17. You have no existence except because He purposefully made you and carefully sustained you every day of your ungrateful life.
Joshua is your Owner. Deuteronomy 10:14; Colossians 1:16; Proverbs 16:4. Your Creator owns you. As His creation, you belong not to yourself, but to Him, and nothing can change that.
Joshua is your Law-Giver. Matthew 28:18-20. Every desire of His is a legal requirement you have failed to learn and joyfully obey. Deut 28:47.
Joshua is your Judge. John 5:22. He will soon judge you – the date is already set. He knows every word, action, and secret thought of yours and will hold you to account for all of it. 2 Corinthians 5:10; Romans 2:16; Acts 10:42.
Joshua is your King. Revelation 19:16; Philippians 2:10-11. His will must be done. Your autonomous, self-centered, disloyal life is treasonous. Your lust-driven loyalty to the Devil’s nullified authority is criminal.
Everyone who persists in disloyalty to the now-reigning Creator, Owner, Law-Giver, Judge, and King of planet Earth will be eradicated by Him when His procession returns – there will be no excuses, no second-chances, and no mercy. Psalm 34:16; Revelation 6:16; Luke 19:27.
All those that King Joshua loves and forgives inevitably love Him and live loyally to Him – joyfully captive to His Lordship. John 17:2; 6:65; 6:44; 6:37; 5:24; 3:18; Jeremiah 31:3. Such loyalty is not the prescription of how to be loved and forgiven by this King – He simply loves whom He loves – and loyalty is the description – the natural response – of those who are loved and forgiven. 1 John 4:10,19. King Joshua said: “He who is loyal has eternal life.” John 6:47; John 5:24 (“He who is hearing my word, and is loyal to Him who sent me, has life age-during, and to judgment he does not come, but has passed out of the death to the life.”).
Everyone taking refuge under His dominion has always been eternally secure and will eternally enjoy His wise government and liberal welfare system forever. Matthew 6:32-33.
IF YOU ARE DISLOYAL, YOU ARE WOEFULLY MISTAKEN
You might be thinking: “Joshua, the Jewish Man who was rejected by other Jews and who died on a cross 2000 years ago, is NOT actually the current Almighty King on this Earth. He certainly is not my King.”
You are simply mistaken.
If you do not obey the good news, you are terribly ill-advised. 2 Thessalonians 1:8; 1 Peter 4:17.
If you cannot accept this good news, you are a bit like this man: Onoda.
After Japan surrendered in World War II, Onoda was a Japanese soldier who supposed the surrender was fake news. People brought him the news and even photos from his family, but he refused to believe that Japan had lost.
He fought a private guerrilla war for more than 10,000 days before finally surrendering in 1974. Yet, because Onoda’s country had surrendered much earlier (in 1945), and because he had heard this news – even from his own countrymen, all his fighting – like his shooting local police and fishermen – was illegal, unjustified violence. As one article describes:
Even though Onoda believed he was still operating under wartime conditions, the conflict was over and his guerrilla military actions were actually a form of terrorism. [The documentary about Onoda] doesn’t really offer that perspective on the violence Onoda committed after the war was officially over, but it’s really not a stretch to hold the soldier responsible after he’d been told the truth.
If you have read this far – YOU have now been told the truth by one of your fellow-humans in this world. No matter how valiant you feel in your continued resistance, it is futile and foolish.
You are not a hero.
If you cannot accept news of the Creator’s final and irrevocable defeat of your personal reign – His crushing of all your hopes of an autonomous pursuit of pleasure, power, and prominence – then you are a bit like Onoda, but worse.
As another mere analogy, your life is a bit like a “Not My Presidents Day” rally – only, it’s an unsophisticated “Not My King” rally.
Hypothetically, after a country’s new president comes into power, you can protest and burn traffic cones, but the new administration has come – no matter how defiant you are.
In reality, now that your Maker’s reign has decisively come, you might protest, you might be disorderly about it, you might feel quite glorious in your resistance, but His administration has come – no matter how defiant you are. There’s nothing you can do about it. You are wasting your time and storing up more reasons for punishment. Romans 2:5.
Joshua has come into power as the world’s rightful King, and He is rightfully imposing His global despotism. Every knee will bow to King Joshua, including yours, either in joy, or as it melts. Philippians 2:8-11; Hebrews 10:26-27.
Next, King Joshua will administer fiery vengeance to those who disobey the good news of His reign. 2 Thessalonians 1:7-9; 1 Peter 4:17.
CONCLUSION
So, to conclude: what is the good news?
The good news is that the one true deity, the Maker of all things – including you – is rightfully asserting His eternal global despotism over everything at the hand of His own preeminent Son, Joshua the Almighty King, who – just as promised:
1. inaugurated the reign of Supreme One on Earth;
2. died for His chosen people to (i) deliver them from spiritual deadness, slavery to sin, and fear of death, and (ii) sacrificially absorb the divine punishment they earned on account of their evils;
3. rose from the dead as (i) victory over all evil powers, (ii) proof that His sacrifice accomplished the acquittal of His chosen people, (iii) verification of His rightful claim to the throne and judgment seat of the universe, and (iv) inauguration of the powerful new life to be enjoyed by all the loyal;
4. sent His Spirit to enliven, inhabit, empower, and unite the faithful in continued allegiance to the truth; and
5. will Judge all souls, sending the disloyal to eternal torment, and gathering His precious, forgiven, loyal people into a New Earth to bask in His peace. Isaiah 65:17; 2 Peter 3:13; Revelation 21:1; Psalm 37:11.
Because this is “news,” there is nothing you can do to change any of this. It has already started – and its ultimate consummation is only a matter of time.
On behalf of Supreme One, you have been notified.
The time is fulfilled, and the reign of Supreme One has come! Let all your other loyalties be displaced and live faithfully to this good news!
Mark 1:15.
